Sashay had to have a delivery style all of her own of course. She is very stoic, never once any heavy panting, she would flick her ears when she was having a new contraction. That is a first in 24 years! There are 6 pups (4 boys and 2 girls - no patches). More later... I was up for 24 hours straight. Not Sashay's fault I just woke up wide awake at 3 a.m. yesterday and did not get to nap until 3 a.m. today. I say 'nap' because I am laying right next to the whelping box and any little squeak or cry and I have to make sure all are okay.
The time of actual whelping was great. It was not in the middle of the night, nor 1st thing in the morning after keeping me up all night.
1) 5:20 p.m. - Black Girl - 11 1/4 oz
2) 6:38 p.m. - Liver Boy - 10 1/2 oz
3) 7:00 p.m. - Black Girl - 7 7/8 oz
4) 7:18 p.m. - Liver Boy - 10 7/8 oz
5) 8:30 p.m. - Boy - 10 7/8 oz
6) 9:00 p.m. - Black Boy - 13 oz
